I do all my sculpts, using IRL wound images. Clay Scultping takes practice and lots of patience, but what I love about this is when you start doing this and take it all the way through to prosthetic and application you see where you went wrong and where to improve, I highly recommend any SFX artist to get on the tools. I work with Chavant clay medium and a variety of sculpting tools some of which are very random tools (like pet grooming tools) as recommended by legends in the industry like Don landing and Christien Tinsley. I learnt how to do this from a Don Lanning course, he is a master! and works so quickly..so very happy to have it to refer back to when I get frustrated..
